Triathlon and road expertise right on the 101

When the wrenching area of the shop is placed in the middle of the store you know you are in a bike shop with nothing to hide. B and L lives up to this promise with a helpful staff that has loads of experience with road and triathlon.

The Solana Beach location is right in the thick of things on the 101. At some point or another just about ever rider in San Diego stops off at B&L. Whether it is to purchase a bike, get something fixed during a ride, or even just to hit the water cooler in the front of the store or the bathroom at the back of the store,  B and L is a little mini oasis. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The only time you might get frustrated with B&L is when it is jamming on the weekends but what do you expect when you have a horde of bike crazed fanatics visiting the store as the ride by on the 101.

The Solana Beach location is an ideal place to rent a bike for a few days as there is no better place to start a ride than the 101 at Solana Beach.

The B and L stores are well stocked with cycling goods. Specialized products predominate but you will also find items by Orbea, Zoot, Zipp, Look and other popular brands. B and L does a great job supporting road and triathlon cyclists.

The second location on Rosecrans street is farther off the beaten path so you likely won't be riding past it but the location at the intersection of HWY 5 and HWY 8 is super convenient.

B&L. Good shop. They will almost always be able to help you out with a little wrenching with no appointment. Used to be a hot little scotts lass worked there too.
