Thomas "Getting Started" Stoller
Thomas just got her first road bike. He is new to riding but wants to get out there and give it his best shot. His rides are mellow and although they have a few hills here and there (you are in San Diego you know) all of the rides are manageable for even a novice rider but better make sure you are on a proper road bike. Having a few gears to get you up the hills wil be helpful.
This is the big one. See everything lower San Diego has to offer in a single ride. Ocean Beach. Hillcrest. Harbor Drive. Point Loma. Old Town. Downtown. Balboa Park. Did we leave anything out?
It is alot more fun to ride the San Diego Highway 56 Bike Path than to watch everyone else while you are sitting in traffic on"the 56." This is one of the few inland rides that will allow you to put in some flat miles without straying too far from the coast.
Ride your bike through the abandoned old US 101 in Camp Pendleton in this flat bike ride along the coast.
Mount Soledad offers great views of the city and is accessible for those getting more serious about riding their bike in San Diego
Ocean Beach to Point Loma - a sweet ride that take you to what many believe are the best views in San Diego.
