This is the big one. See everything lower San Diego has to offer in a single ride. Ocean Beach. Hillcrest. Harbor Drive. Point Loma. Old Town. Downtown. Balboa Park. Did we leave anything out?
Seriously, there is no other ride that we know of that will take you on a tour of lower San Diego like this one. Granted, you will see some cars along the way but that is expected. This tour would be ideal for anyone visiting San Diego to do to get to know the local sights in and around the city. We suggest doing this ride in a counter clockwise direction. If you do, the ride is mostly flat but there are some manageable hills. The hills to note are out by Sunset Cliffs by Ocean Beach (short and steep); ascending into Balboa Park (longer and gradual), and Presidio Park (although you will be going down hill). You can start the ride anywhere you like. The Old Town Transit Center could work. At a coffee shop in Hillcrest perhaps. Maybe out by ocean beach? It is up to you just do it.
